The New Atlantis Project aims to provide accomodation, career options and by all means, a green and meaningful lifestyle for all. This self-sufficient home has the potential to act as a shelter from the tribulations of the ever changing weather conditions of the upcoming centuries.
The building itself is a semi-underwater construction. Being primarly built from recycled waste, the project helps reducing the amount of waste in the region it's location.
In addition to clean energy production, which exceeds the capacity of an average nuclear power plant, our buildings are able to grow large amounts of food, filter harmful substances from the athmosphere, and emit clean air, regardless of weather circumstances.
As a reception center, the units provide full social care (housing, food, education, health and culture) for people in need, therefore reducing the social expenditure of the given region. On the top, the residents can enjoy fresh air in our pleasant rooftop garden.

ATLANTIS UNITS IN ADDITION
TO SUPPLY NUMEROUS PEOPLE WITH ENERGY, ARE ABLE TO SELL THE EXCESS ELECTRICITY PRODUCED.
A New Atlantis unit can be viewed as a reliable and high functioning power plant. Using three sources of renewable energy, it produces enough electricity for the whole residency and production levels, even in situation of one source of energy is being scarcer than the others. The top
of the building is a glass construction, and acts as a solar collector. The sunlight, after entering the collector is being directed to the reactor at the bottom of the unit. While travelling from the top to the bottom, it will be a valuable source of light for the spaces located in the centre of the building. The wind turbines set under the solar collector
will produce sigificant amounts of electricity too. Wind
being a more reliable source of energy provider helps to keep the elecricity levels consistent. Collecting geothermal energy at the bottom part of the building will push the amount of electricity collected by this type of unit to a next level. Apart from the enegry needed for self sufficiency,
the excess electricity produced will be sold at a fraction
of the market price.
The construction of the units will start after the central levels
of the facility have been planted on the lake, sea or ocean of
our choice and are floating on the water. From the center, building storey after storey, the central part is being extended towards the bottom of the water, and towards the sky.
The glass cap sits at the top of the building, with a wind turbine set at its bottom. Above the surface are the residental areas containing personal and community spaces, such as rooms designed for comfortable living and halls built for sport activities and entertainment. Under the surface, surrounded with water, the remaining storeys are dedicated for production and manufacturing. These levels provide space for growing various plants and even artificial meat. The laboratories here are dedicated for the development of science and the manufacturing spaces have the purpose of providing the supplies needed for the community and the maintrance of
the facility. The reactor is placed on the bottom, generating
the electricity needed for working, living and creating.
